The cursor on my ADNS 9800 sensor is not working after updating the firmware. How can I solve this?

We have seen an issue on some units where the lift-off height for the sensor is getting set too low, resulting in the sensor not working on the surface you're using the R.A.T. PRO X on.  To solve this you need to use another mouse to set the lift-off height to 1.2mm.

In the R.A.T. PRO X software click the Settings tab at the top and then click Lift-off Height.  Set the slider to 1.2mm and then click Apply - your cursor should now be working correctly.
